Akzo Nobel has announced its intentions to sell three businesses from its chemicals portfolio. The company’s catalysts, coating resins and phosphorous chemicals business units will be divested. “Akzo Nobel will create value by moving towards a more consistent portfolio of businesses,” said Hans Wijers, chairman of the board of management, Akzo Nobel.
